Mr. K.Ravi, Headmaster, attended the discussion meeting for all the Heads of Schools,    regarding School Management Committee Meeting on 17th April 2026,conducted by Dr.P.V.Mohanram, Secretary, PSG iTech & Mr.N.C.Nandagopalan, Secretary, PSG Schools, at PSG MS, Peelamedu,


A 100% Voting awareness oath was taken on 27th March 2026, at the school premises, for the Tamilnadu Legislative Election 2026, along with the School Secretary, Executive Officer of Vedapatti town Panchayat, Deputy Tahsildar of Perur Taluk and all our staff members


A two days General Medical Check-up was conducted at the school premises on     19th &  20th February 2026, for pupils of classes I to V, by the doctors and staff of PSG Hospitals, Peelamedu


A doctor along with the staff from PSG Rural Health Centre, Vedapatti, conducted an “Health and Hygiene” programme for pupils of Stds III to V on 15th July 2025, at the school premises


PTA Meeting was conducted on 27th June 2025 along with an awareness programme on the importance of  Vaccination, by Doctors of PSG Rural Health Centre, Vedapatti, at the school campus. Nearly 250 parents turned up for the meeting.


PSG Hospitals, Peelamedu, along with M/s Shanti Ashram conducted an “HVP Vaccine” camp on 6th  February 2025, at PSG Rural Health centre, Vedapatti. Twenty two girls from Standards IV & V were vaccinated. 


Kannan & A.Vani, Asst.Teachers, attended the “Cubs & Bulbuls” training on 6th & 19th December 2024,conducted by the Education Department at Govt. Hr. Secondary School, Kuniamuthur.


The Bharat Scouts and Guides Association conducted  a one day camp for Cubs & Bulbuls on 11th October 2025 at Vasavi.Vidhyalaya. Matric. Hr.School, Telungupalayam. Twenty three pupils from our school participated in this camp.


Annual Inspection

 

Annual lnspection was held on 12th December 2025. Ms.C.Thannasi, BEO (Block Educational Officer) of Perur Range, inspected the classes and she also perused the school records. She appreciated the performance of the teachers and the pupils.

 


Campus day

Parent Teachers Meeting was held on 29th July 2023, for classes IV and V, at the School premises. Nearly 95% of the parents turned up for the meeting.


“Campus Day” was conducted from 22nd October  to 25th October 2025, after school hours for pupils of classes 1 to 5, regarding their performance in the First  Term Examination.


Parent Teachers Meeting was conducted for parents of pupils of Standard V  on  12th  March 2026, regarding Transfer Certificate data verification, Entrance Examination and admission to Standard VI in PSG High School.


Eye screening

Aravind Eye Hospital along with M/s Shanti Ashram conducted an “Eye Screening” camp on 9th September 2025, at the school campus, for pupils of classes I to V. Five pupils were detected with eye deficiency.


Fire & Safety Programme

Mr. Rangaraju, Fire and Safety Officer, PSG Institutions visited the school and conducted an awareness programme on First –  Aid and Safety Measures during times of natural disaster for pupils of Standards I to V.

Mock Drill and First Aid Programme were conducted by  PSG Fire Safety Officer on 22nd June 2026.


Motivational Talks

Successful Alumni are invited once in a month to address pupils and to share their experiences and success stories with them.

Teachers conduct month wise seminars and share their thoughts and ideas with other faculty members in a way to self-motivate themselves and as well as others.



Vanamahotsava Day

“Vanamahotsava Day” was celebrated on 27th July 2021 at the school playground in view of former President Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam’s memorable day. The secretary of PSG Schools , Mr.N.C.Nandagopalan planted  saplings in this occasion which was oganized by the schools Alumni Association and Elanthulir Natpani Nalasangam.

 

 


Workshop

Shanti Ashram, Kovaipudur, conducts workshops every year for pupils under the age category of 10 on the topic “Adaptation of the Learning to Live Together,” ”Child Abuse,” ” Awareness on Poverty,” etc., The pupils of the school participate in these workshops regularly every year.


                                                      Awareness Programme

“Shanti Ashram” conducted an interactive session on the topic “To Ensure Children’s well being during COVID – 19 pandemic” on 26th July 2021.  Kezevino Aram, President, Shanti Ashram was the Chief  Guest and  other speakers  were Dr. Subhadra, Ms.Ramya Devaraj and Ms.Devika. All  the teachers  attended  the  programme. They also  provided a “COVID-19 Kit” for all  the teaching  and  non – teaching staff. Dr.Kezevino Aram was also honoured by all the teaching & non-teaching staff  for receiving the“ICPH (International Center for Child and Public Health)  Leadership Award” by “The Harvard T.H.Chan Alumni Association,” United States.


 

 

An awareness programme on “Child Safety” was conducted for pupils of Standards I to V on 1st August 2023 by Mr.Raja, Sub-Inspector, accompanied by a police personal from Vadavalli Police Station.


K.Ravi, H.M. along with two teachers & eight parents attended the “Petrorai Kondaduvom”programme at CODISSIA conducted by the Educational Department of Tamilnadu. Director of School Education presided over the function. Mr.Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi, Minister for School Education of Tamilnadu was the Chief Guest. Four districts (Coimbatore, Nilgiris, Tiruppur, Erode) participated in this programme.


 

An awareness programme on “Climatic Change-Pedal for the Planet” was conducted on 19th March 2024,by Sivasuryan Senthil Raman,(cycle rider, climate warrior) for pupils to protect themselves as well as the planet from Global Warming.


An awareness programme on “Child Safety & Cyber Security” was conducted by Mr.C.Kaleb, Sub-Inspector of Police, Thondamuthur  Police Station.


 

 

 

Moral value classes are being conducted at the school premises, periodically. Parents of pupils are also given opportunities to talk and tell stories to the pupils.


 

 

Life skill programmes are being conducted  at the school premises, periodically.


“Parents Hour” programme was conducted on periodically. Parents of pupils were given opportunities to talk with the pupils and to sing songs and tell stories.
