STUDENTS AWARD
“Kalai Thiruvizha – Art & Literary Competitions- 2024 – 2025”
“Kalai Thiruvizha – Art & Literary Competitions- 2024 – 2025” Block Level competitions was conducted on 22nd October 2024 at Govt. Hr. Sec. School, Kuniyamuthur, which was organized by TN. Education Department. Ten Govt. Schools in Perur Block participated in this event. 13 various competitions were conducted for classes 1 to 5. Our school pupils have won the first place in 8 events out of 13, as well as two second prizes and three third All the pupils who have won the first prize at the Block level have been qualified to participate in the District Level competitions.
Science Exhibition
Every year “Science Exhibition” is conducted by Education Department for Standards III to V, at the school level.
Pupils who get selected in the school level are sent to the Block Level.
Pupils who won the first prize in the Block Level are sent to the District Level Science Exhibition.
B. Bharath Abraham & B. Saravanan, of Std IV, won the “First Prize” in 2018-2019 in the Block Level & District Level Science Exhibition.
District Level Chess Competition
“District Level Chess Competition” was conducted at Corporation Primary School, Kurichi. Nearly 52 schools participated in it. In that, our pupils V.Aakaash and V.Durga of Standard V won the First and Third prize respectively.
KalaiAruvi Thiruvizha
“KalaiAruvi Thiruvizha” ( Art and Literary Competitions) was conducted by the Educational Department at CMS Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Ganapathy, Coimbatore.
36 pupils from our school were selected in the first level and participated in the finals. Out of 36 pupils, 8 pupils won the first prize in various categories, 2 pupils won the second prize and 1 pupil won the third prize respectively in 2018.
In 2019, 6 pupils won the first prize, 3 pupils the second prize and 2 pupils got the third prize.
The school has won “Overall Championship Trophy” consecutively for two years from the start of the competitions.
Story Telling Competitions
Story telling competition is being organised every year by Shanti Ashram, Coimbatore. Two pupils of Standards IV and V participated in it.
A.Sowmiya of Standard V won the first prize and N.Abiksha of Standard IV won the third prize in 2022-2023
Drawing Competition
S.Nandhithashree of Standard III won the 1st prize in the drawing competition conducted by the Education Department and was honoured with a certificate and cash award of Rs.1000/-.
Pupils of the school sang devotional songs in the “Vanavil” programme which is being organized by PSG & Sons’ Charities every month.
