Competitions are being conducted every year to train the pupils
Pongal
“Pongal” is being celebrated every year in the school premises to mark the traditional values.
Competitions like Food without Flame (Healthy Food), Rangoli and Traditional Games are conducted for parents. The winners of the competitions are awarded in the Annual Day Celebration in the same year.

Sports Day
“Sports Day” was conducted on 27th February 2019 at the school play ground. March past and various other drill programmes such as Dumbles, Lezim and finally Human Pyramid was conducted.
Dr. A.Jeyasudha, Principal, PSG College of Nursing, Peelamedu was the chief guest. The “Overall Championship Trophy” was awarded to the “Pink House.”
Art & Literary Competition
District Level “Art & Literary Competition” was conducted on 15th October 2019 to mark the occasion of “Platinum Jubilee Celebration.” Pupils from 13 Government Schools participated in it.
Children’s Day Competitions
Competitions are conducted every year by “Coimbatore Ladies Circle No .1’’ and “PSG Rural Health Centre,” Vedapatti , to mark the occasion of Children’s Day.
Kamarajar’s Birthday Competitions
Literary competitions are being conducted every year on 15th July in view of “Kamarajar Birthday.” Winners are honoured with prizes.
Hand-Writing Competition
Hand–writing competition is conducted every year in the school. Pupils who are selected in the first three places are awarded shields.
