Faculty Empowerment

The Secretary organizes a common “Faculty Development Programme” for the teachers of all PSG Schools before the commencement of every academic year. Faculty development programme is conducted by the Secretary periodically in the school. The empowerment programme for teachers help them follow the best methods that facilitate efficient Teaching-Learning experience in the classroom. Teachers are exposed to regular orientation and training programmes to keep them updated in their respective disciplines.

In-service training for teachers are conducted by the School Education Department periodically to update them whenever a new practice or syllabus is introduced.

English Language Teachers Association of India (ELTAI), Cambridge Assessment English Training, New Science Equipment and Demonstration Training, Effective Online Classes Training, Usage of Google Tools  Training, etc.,  are conducted by the Management for the  timely improvement of teachers.

Mr.Kannan, Asst Teacher attended two days workshop at PSG Public School regarding Assessment practice.

Mr. K.Kannan, Asst. teacher, attended the Orientation Programme  for Tamil   handling teachers conducted by Kumaraguru College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore on 19th  September 2025.

Mr.R.Kesavamurthi, Founder of “Igniting Young Minds” (A Social Service Platform in Education Domain)  conducted a class for Students & Faculty of the school on 13th August 2025,and shared ideas on how  to focus, serve and uplift children who require educational needs, etc….

The teaching learning materials used by teachers in the classrooms based on this month’s syllabus, were displayed on 29th July 2025.

All teachers attended the Faculty Development Programme on “Leadership and Administrative Skills for Aspiring Leaders” on 8th and 15th June 2024,organised and conducted by PSGCARE.

All teachers attended the Faculty Development Programme on the topic “Empowering Educators – Skills, Safety and Well-being for Teaching” on 26th & 27th May 2025, at PSG CARE, Peelamedu.

K.Kannan, Asst.Teacher, attended a two days workshop on “Happiness, Habits & Success on 7th February 2025, organized by PSG iTech, Neelambur.

P.Paramaselvi & Ms.S.Selvi, Asst.teachers of the school attended a two days workshop on “Learning To Live Together’ on the 14th & 15th March 2025, at M/s Shanti Ashram, Kovaiputhur.

In-service training

The Govt. of Tamilnadu conducted an in-service training on the topic “ Ennum Ezhuthum Teaching Learning Methodology” for teachers handling Standards     I to V from 9th  June to 16th June 2025. at Govt. Hr.Sec. School, Kuniyamuthur, Coimbatore. All aided teachers attended the training on alternative days.

Faculty Trip

A trip to PSG Farm, Anaikatti, was arranged for all teaching and non-teaching staff on 1st August 2026. Various recreational activities, games and academic discussion were conducted. It was really a great time for all.
