Centenary Celebrations<\/h2>\n

To mark the completion of 100 years, we decided to celebrate the occasion in a grand manner.<\/p>\n

An \u201cAlumni Meet<\/strong>\u201d function and a \u201cOne Day Educational Seminar<\/strong>\u201d was conducted for teachers in the school premises besides the dance performances of\u00a0\u201cLavanya Shankar<\/strong>\u00a0& her<\/strong>\u00a0troupe.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

Alumni Meet<\/h2>\n

The Alumni of the school were invited to the celebration held on 10th<\/sup> September 2006. S.P.Velumani, Member of Legislative Assembly, Perur, K.Damodarasamy Naidu, Founder of Annapoorna and Gowrishankar Group, G.Narayanasamy, the then DEO of Coimbatore\u00a0 and N.K.Rajarajan, the then DEEO of Coimbatore were the Guests of Honour. P.A.Naresh, the then CEO of Coimbatore, was the Chief Guest. G.Rangaswamy, the then Managing Trustee of PSG & Sons Charities presided over the function. The meeting concluded with a traditional dance programme\u00a0 performed by \u201cLavanya Shankar & her troupe\u201d.<\/b><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n

One Day\u00a0 Seminar<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

A one-day seminar for the school faculty in and around the school on the topic \u201cEnhancement, Enrichment & Empowerment\u201d was conducted in the school premises on 24th<\/sup>\u00a0January 2007, marking the conclusion of the \u201cCentenary Celebrations<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n

G.Rangasamy<\/strong>, the then Managing Trustee of PSG & Sons’ Charities, presided over the function. Dr.R.Nandagopal<\/strong>, Director of PSG IM, lit the lamp. Dr.K.Kulandaivel<\/strong>, Vice-Chancellor of Avinashilingam University, was the Chief Guest.<\/p>\n

Platinum Jubilee Celebrations<\/h2>\n

PSG Primary School, Vedapatti, came under the\u00a0\u201cPrestigious banner of PSG & Sons\u2019 Charities\u201d<\/strong> in the year 1943 \u2013 1944. So, the\u00a0\u201cPlatinum Jubilee\u201d<\/strong> was celebrated in 2019 \u2013 2020. The school celebrated the\u00a0Platinum Jubilee<\/strong>\u00a0on 13th<\/sup> March 2020 at PSG College of Technology Auditorium. The\u00a0 Managing Trustee L.Gopalakrishnan<\/strong> presided over the function. The School Secretary N.C.Nandagopalan<\/strong>\u00a0welcomed the gathering.\u00a0Swami Karishtanandhar,<\/strong> Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya, was the Chief Guest and\u00a0R.Shanmugham,<\/strong>\u00a0Former President, Odanthurai Panchayat, Karamadai, \u00a0was the Guest of Honour.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n

The\u00a0\u201cSchool\u2019s Platinum Jubilee Souvenir\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0was also released in this celebration. The programme started with a devotional song sung by our pupils. Mr.R<\/strong>.Nandakumar<\/strong>, Legal Advisor, Committee Member, gave the presidential address, Dr. B. Giriraj, Prinicipal, <\/strong>PSG Polytechnic College was the Chief Guest, Ms.S.Srikala, <\/strong>Block Educational Officer, was the Guest of Honour, Mr. N.C. Nandagopalan, <\/strong>Secretary,<\/strong> PSG Schools gave the special address, Ms. C. Parimala, <\/strong>Headmistress,<\/strong> PSG High School, gave the welcome address and the Annual Report of the school was read out by Mr. K. Ravi, <\/strong>Headmaster,<\/strong> PSG Primary School.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n
